INFORMATION NOTE AS PER THE LAW NR. 6698 ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
“Melissa Apart Turizm İnş. Taah. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti (Hotel Goldenday Wıngs)” takes all necessary security measures to ensure that your personal data is collected, processed and transferred in accordance with the Law and to protect your privacy.
DATA CONTROLLER
Your personal data will be collected and processed by “Melissa Apart Turizm İnş.Taah. ve Ltd. Şti (Hotel Goldenday Wıngs)” as the data controller in accordance with the Law Nr. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data within the scope to be explained below.
PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

- Data of Our Customers:
- ID information of the customers staying at the Hotel (TR identity number, passport number, place of birth, date of birth, place of registry, parents names, marital status, gender and other information written on the identity card)
- Financial data if payment is made by credit card : Our customers’ credit card information is processed limited to financial and accounting purposes of the Hotel.
- Physical Space Security Data : With the security cameras in our Hotel, video recordings are taken in order to fulfill our obligations to ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals.
- Health Data (Fever measurement due to Covid 19, HES code query) is processed in order to carry out the activities in our Hotel in accordance with the legislation, to ensure the security of the place and to inform the authorized persons, institutions and organizations.
- Data of our Visitors:
- ID information of the Visitors: Name Surname
- Contact information : Phone number
- Physical Space Security Data: With the security cameras in our Hotel, video recordings are taken in order to fulfill our obligations to ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals.
- Health Data (Fever measurement due to Covid 19) is processed in order to carry out the activities in our Hotel in accordance with the legislation, to ensure the security of the place and to inform the authorized persons, institutions and organizations.
Processing of Special Categories of Personal Data: According to the Law Nr. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data, data relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, appearance and dressing, membership of association, foundation or trade-union, health, sexual life, criminal conviction and security measures and biometrics and genetics are special categories of personal data. Our Company adequately takes the measures determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in the processing of special categories of personal data. In order to provide better service, our Company will only process the special categories of personal data with the consent of relevant person and only to the purpose of collection.
LEGAL GROUNDS OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The aforementioned personal data is processed as it is mandatory in accordance with the below mentioned Article 5/2 of the Law Nr. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data;
a) It is expressly permitted by any law;
b) It is necessary in order to protect the life or physical integrity of the data subject or another person where the data subject is physically or legally incapable of giving consent;
c) It is necessary to process the personal data of parties of a contract, provided that the processing is directly related to the execution or performance of the contract;
ç) It is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation which the controller is subject to;
d) The relevant information is revealed to the public by the data subject herself/himself;
e) It is necessary for the institution, usage, or protection of a right;
f) It is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed.
METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA
These personal data are collected and processed partially automatically or automatically through forms, websites, security cameras or computer programs within the scope of the above-mentioned legal grounds.
PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY POLICY
The personal data of employees or other people in “Melissa Apart Turizm İnş. Taah. ve Tic. Ltd.Şti (Hotel Goldenday Wıngs)” is confidential. No one may use, copy, reproduce, transfer to others or use these personal data for any other purpose not in accordance with the Contract or the Law or use it other than business purposes. Personal data of the persons concerned are confidential and “Melissa Apart Turizm İnş. Taah. Ve Tic. Ltd.Şti (Hotel Goldenday Wıngs)” respects this confidentiality. Only authorized people can access personal data within the Company. All necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure that the collected data does not fall into hands of unauthorized people and that the data owner is not victimized. Security measures are constantly being renewed and improved. If personal data needs to be shared in accordance with the Law, our Company also requests data protection from the shared companies.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Your collected personal data can be transferred limited to the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law Nr. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data to;

All processed personal data are stored by taking all administrative and technical measures in accordance with the provisions of the Law Nr. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECT
ARTICLE 11 – (1) Each person has the right to request to the data controller about him/her;
a) to learn whether his/her personal data are processed or not,
b) to demand for information as to if his/her personal data have been processed,
c) to learn the purpose of the processing of his/her personal data and whether these personal
data are used in compliance with the purpose,
ç) to know the third parties to whom his personal data are transferred in country or abroad,
d) to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
e) to request the erasure or destruction of his/her personal data under the conditions referred to in Article 7,
f) to request reporting of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom his/her personal data have been transferred,
g) to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,
ğ) to claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of his/her personal data.
In these Applications, it is mandatory to have the information including;
a. Your Name, Surname and signature (if it is a written application),
b. Tr identity number if you are a Turkish citizen; Nationality, passport number or id number if you are a foreigner,
c. Principal place of residence or work address,,
d. Notification e-mail address, phone number or fax number if available,
e. Your request
and relevant information and documents (if any) should be attached to the application.
DURATION OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Personal data that is processed in accordance with the Law Nr 6698 on Protection of Personal Data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized either ex officio or upon request by the data subject in case the reasons necessitating their processing cease to exist.
